With experience across almost every industry, Mark brings more than 30 years of accumulated knowledge to each and every project, leading technology transformation within organisations across Australia.
A member of the Australian Information Industry Association Board, Mark is at the forefront of technology transformation. Known for his ability to engage people at every level, he is adept at honing in on client priorities and finding the right formula to help organisations grow their way.
Mark understands and has seen first-hand the challenges around technology that organisations face today. He is dedicated to helping IPG clients find a way through these, helping them to do what they need to do, within their capabilities to achieve whatever success might look like for them. He believes that just because you have less money, haven’t started or don’t have the same capability, doesn’t mean you should be left behind. There is always a way to catchup and compete successfully.
One of his largest projects to date was leading Queensland Rail in a massive change agenda, requiring the implementation of a new company strategy, process change both up and down the organisation as well as technology renewal and new systems within a challenging culture. This program was delivered on time and within budget.
In April 2020, Mark led the IPG team to support Queensland Health in establishing a new contact tracing application for COVID-19. It was both urgent and important work requiring a weekend review to make sure the team could provide input into an urgent go-live decision.
Mark is incredibly committed. And not just to the work and achieving results, but to great teamwork and to the continuous learning and improvement that are required to effect real change.
